Both parties will agree that the Terms and Conditions laid out here form part of the contractual agreement between the first party, hereafter called “The Videographer” and the second party i.e. the person or persons booking the video services, hereafter called “The Client”. It is also agreed that no subsequent changes or modifications will be made to the contract without the agreement in writing of both parties.
Payment
We require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your booking. Balance is due no later than 14 days prior to the date of your wedding. If you do not do so we will not have any liability to you, and if we so decide we shall be entitled in our absolute discretion to forfeit the whole or part of the deposit. Only cash or EFT payments will be accepted. We do not accept cheque deposits.
Transport Costs
Transport costs are calculated at R2,00 per km after an initial 100km (150km on Platinum Package) AA Rates apply.
Music/Images/Artwork
The Client is responsible for supplying all music, photographs and artwork (optional) on or before the day of the wedding. Failure to provide the relevant material will severely delay the production & delivery of the DVD. Music: 8 - 10 audio tracks (including the song selected for your first dance) Photographs: Your photographer will need to supply 4, high res images for the DVD covers.
Catering for Videographer(s)
We do ask that our videographers are properly catered for.
Delivery
We aim to deliver your Wedding DVD within 4 weeks, but during busy periods it can take up to 5 weeks. Unfortunately no refunds can be given for this reason.
Limitation of Liability
Life Weddings will take utmost care to produce a video of the highest quality, but will not be held responsible for acts of God and/or circumstances beyond our control. Under any and all circumstances which prohibit production, the total liability of Life Weddings is limited to the refund of the retainer.
Copyright
All videos are copyrighted by Life Weddings with all rights reserved. Clients are not be entitled to receive unedited/raw/original footage.
Finished Product
We do not offer screenings of your film or send out proof copies or incomplete edits for your review or approval. Any alterations to the DVD after completion are at our discretion and may incur additional charges. The client will have 2 weeks after the delivery of their DVD to raise any concerns.
